Despite also confirming to them that Capture works on an Intel Macbook pro with Big Sur installed, they insist "Capture does not function correctly on macOS 11 (Big Sur) regardless of whether it is the M1 or even Intel-based." They simply do not get that Logitech Capture won't work on Macs with M1 chips. I have the same issue and have been dealing with Logitech support. I understand that Mac doesn't necessarily play well with other peripherals but even OP posted this 3 months ago. There are many other companies whose software ran without a problem with Rosetta 2. IMPORTANT - When prompted to update the application, click Install Later. Give it 30 seconds or so, it should start up Once the installer is complete, launch Logi Capture from it Run the installer after unzipping the download Scroll all the way down and download the last one.Under Mac, choose the last option (macOS 10.14).Here are the steps I followed to get it working on my M1 Mac Mini: It is an older version of Logi Capture but better than nothing.This is probably is not worth it for people who aim to use Logi Capture all the time as it requires a reinstall each time after you close the applicationįirstly, thank you to everyone who posted on here, I thought I was going crazy when Logi Capture just didn't open. I may have figured out a work-around but need someone to verify it.
